Adding a Second Floor on an Existing First Floor – Thai Binh

Project Name: Adding a second floor on the existing first floor.
Location: Đông Hưng – Thái Bình.
Scale: The area of the additional second floor is 87 m², including 2 rooms – 1 bedroom + 1 living room, and 1 bathroom.
Project Characteristics: The first floor of the building being upgraded was constructed in 1999, 25 years ago. The foundation of this old house is not suitable for traditional construction methods due to the heavy load. The proposed solution is to use a prefabricated construction method with G550 lightweight steel frames to avoid putting pressure on the foundation of the old house.
Progress: The project is currently underway.
